Customers lose power

Some Derby area customers were without power on Saturday morning.
“There was a line down about half a mile south of Madison on Rock Road,” said Erin La Row, Westar spokesperson. “It affected 1,434 households.”
La Row said the power went out at 8:09 a.m.
“Power was restored to a good chunk of customers (908) at 8:50 a.m., and to the remaining customers at 11:55 a.m.,” she said.
The outage affected residents between 79th Street South and 119th South, from Webb to Oliver.
