The National Pink Heals Tour will make a stop in Derby on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Dillons Marketplace.

Three of the pink fire trucks, plus one owned by the Wichita Chapter of Pink Heals, will be on display.

The public is invited to visit and sign the trucks in honor of friends and family members who have fought cancer (as shown at another event at bottom right). The event is being hosted by the Derby Fire Department.

"We are very happy to be able to do this," said Fire Chief Brad Smith. "Cancer ... is something we see a lot of when we go out on (medical) responses."
