Karmen Arlene Schawe

Karmen Arlene Schawe, 77, financial bank administrative assistant, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9, at Resthaven Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Karmen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Rosary Group and Sigma Alpha Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil.

Survivors include sons, Galen (Brenda) Schawe, Dale Schawe of Wichita; daughters, Charlene (Allen) Laramore, Laura (Dennis) Cook of Derby; brothers, Gene (Peggy) Scheer of Wichita, Gary (Barbara) Scheer of Tucson, Ariz., Lee (Barbara) Scheer of Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Ellie (Pat) Dye of Monument, Colo., Evelyn Lemmerbrock of San Clemente, Calif., Donna Borg of Wichita; grandchildren, Kristen, Grant, Taylor, Nick, Baylee, Jason, Easton and Karley.
